As we wrap up this week's Battle Mustangs' ESports games, we want to begin by saying how proud we are of all of our players. It has been great watching them progress as teammates and players.
We also want to send a special thanks to Lost Pizza Co. for providing the players and coach with pizza for the playoffs tonight.
Last night, the Rocket League 3v3 team, consisting of Jett King, Ben McNeil, and Westin Norment, played hard but was unable to clinch the win. Then, tonight Jared Starnes powered on the Switch and battled in a Super Smash Bros. Solo one on one. Unfortunately, his fall season also came to an end. He had made his way to the quarterfinals before being eliminated.
The excitement for the night goes to our Rocket League 2v2 team. The team began the night a little rough, losing the first match. They went on to win the next 4 in a row! This win places them in the MSEL Rocket League 2v2 Gold Bracket Finals!! The team, consisting of Cannon Haycox, Rylan Marvel, and Swint Wilder, will be playing on Monday, December 9 at 5 pm.
