Esports

Last night we had a few playoff games going on with our Battle Mustangs.

To start off the night, our Mario Kart team, consisting of Austin Taylor, Ben McNeil, Jacob Del Signore, Carter Fugitt, and Tyler Swenson, went head to head with the number 2 seeded team.  They fought hard, but they couldn't pull out a win.  Congratulations to this team for making it this far.

Then, later in the evening, Jett King and Jared Starnes split up to play Super Smash Bros Solos.  Jett started off rough but was able to win a match before eventually being defeated by the other player.  He put up a good fight, and we look forward to seeing how he does in the spring.

Jared was our victor for the evening.  At the beginning, Jared and his opponent traded off wins, and then Jared went on the offensive and won the match.  He will advance to the next round of the playoffs after Thanksgiving break.

Congratulations to all of these players on a great season.  We will keep you updated after Thanksgiving as our Rocket League teams and Jared continue through the playoff brackets.

Update on game times (as of 11/21 10:00 am)--

  • Rocket League 2v2 will play the Monday we get back (12/2) at 5 pm against WMS. (We are home team.)

  • Jared will continue with Smash Monday, 12/2 at 5 pm versus TKA.  (Jared is the away team.)

  • Rocket League 3v3 is currently scheduled for Tuesday, 12/3 at 5 pm, but the Shepard coach has requested a 4:00 game.  I have responded with acceptance, but it has not yet been officially changed.  (We are the away team.)
