Basketball update

Last night the Red Lick Mustangs boys basketball teams opened up their season against the Maud Cardinals. Here are the results:

7/8B intersquad

White Team 12    Blue Team 11

Leading Scorers were Grant Swenson and Turner McGee with 7 points a piece, Everett DeGroot with 3, and Colt Reyes, Josiah Robinson and Ben McNeil with 2 points a piece.

7A Boys

Red Lick 37     Maud 10

The 7A boys came out on top in the 7A boys game by a final score of 37-10. The Mustangs were led by Samuel Gonzalez and Jeffrey Ives with 7 points, Eli Rankin with 6 points, and Ethan Kesssler with 5. The Mustangs had 8 different players contribute throughout the game to put points on the board.

8A Boys

Red Lick 42     Maud 12

The 8A boys won the final game of the night by a final score of 42-12. Ashton Smallwood led the Mustangs with 12 points and Kamden Kyles contributed 8. Cooper Swanson added 6 points, with Trent Bearden having 5 points. The 8A boys had 7 different players put points on the board for a total team effort both on the offensive and defensive ends. 

The Mustangs will be back in action after Thanksgiving Break against the Paul Pewitt Brahmas at Paul Pewitt. 7A will start at 5pm with 8A to follow. Go Mustangs!!
