The Lady Mustangs will be back in action on Dec. 4th at Red Lick vs Pewitt Lady Brahmas. 7th grade starts at 5:00.

The Red Lick Mustang boy basketball teams faced off against Atlanta yesterday at Atlanta Middle School. The results are as followed:

7/8th B Boys

Atlanta 18 Red Lick 8

The 7/8th B boys came up short in the first game of the night by a final score of 18-8. The Mustangs were led by Gunner Hensel with 6 points and Jacob Redfearn had 2 points. Parker Hall and Carter Bishop led the way on the defensive end.

7th A Boys

Atlanta 35 Red Lick 18

The 7th A Mustangs played a hard fought game in the 2nd game of the night, falling short by a final score of 35-18. The Mustangs were led by Ashton Smallwood with 10 points and Cooper Swanson had 6 points. The Mustangs were led on the defense by Cooper Hampton and Kamden Kyles with key pressure and steals throughout the game.

8th A Boys

Atlanta 38 Red Lick 26

The Red Lick 8A boys played in the night cap game, losing by a final score of 38-26. The Mustangs were down one at half, and continued to battle all night until the final buzzer. The Mustangs were led by Horatio Foster and Tim Thompson with 6 points a piece. Ryan Wells chipped in 5 points and Jayden Hadaway added 4 points as well.

The Mustangs will be back on the road next week to face off against the Pewitt Brahmas. 7/8th B boys will start at 4:30pm with 7A and 8A to follow. If you get the chance, come out and support our student-athletes. Go Mustangs!!
